 ESL TrainingOn Friday, May 18th from 6-9pm, and Saturday, May 19th, from 8am-5pm, Prestonwood will be hosting a training class for our ESL Ministry. This class will be held at the Plano Campus in Room A307 (3rd Floor). For more information, please contact City Missions at 972-820-5030 or citymissions@prestonwood.org. Weekly Classes ESL (English as a Second Language) meets at the Plano Campus on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm in rooms A302-A308; and on Tuesday evenings at the Dallas Campus from 7:00 to 9:00pm. ESL teaches conversational English to those with limited English, important cultural skills, provides Bibles in each student’s native language, and devotionals and prayer are included in every lesson. Our TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) class is held on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 in Room A201 at the Plano Campus. This class offers computer lab access from our Church Library. SSL (Spanish as a Second Language) meets on Thursday evenings at the Plano Campus from 7:00 to 9:00pm. These classes teach conversational Spanish with an emphasis on how to share the Gospel in that language. The English and Citizenship Class meets on Saturday afternoons from 4:00pm-5:50pm at the Plano Campus in Room A308. Weekly classes are conducted in simple English to those desiring to become U.S. citizens. Each class also provides the ability to give out Bibles and devotionals.
