Disaster & Victim Relief
Have you ever felt like everything is out of your control? That is the feeling of many who are the victims of natural disasters. In recent years, we have all been glued to our television screens, watching and listening to devastating reports concering Hurricanes Katrina and Ike.
The Disaster and Victim Relief Ministry did not wait to hear the six o'clock news; this ministry took action and began helping with the clean up after these disasters. The ministry does not just stop with the victims of natural disasters, but invests in the people who are affected by these disasters. Certainly cities and lives need to be rebuilt, but the devastation in the hearts of the people can be even greater. This ministry provides an avenue to reach people who are affected by things that are simply out of their hands. Disaster and Victim Relief seeks to be the sturdy and comforting hands in these times.
