Pray for Mission

Have you ever wondered how you could truly make a difference with the gospel in this world?  Here are a few ways you can begin to pray: 1) Pray that God would send out missionaries across the world.  You can even pray for the trips we take throughout the year.  2) Everyday missionaries, both foreign and national, face obstacles, opposition, and opportunities.  We can intercede on their behalf, asking God to overcome obstacles, endure opposition, and seek opportunities to make Christ known and establish the church.  3) You can invest in mission through prayer by simply praying for the lost.  Who do you know that does not know Jesus Christ?  Begin to pray for them.  Pray for the lost in the places like Brazil, Romania, Sudan, China, and even right here in Dallas.  4) Plug into the various prayer initiatives at Prestonwood.  The message of the gospel is truly good news, let us pray for God to send out messengers and to bring the lost to Himself.

Urgent Prayer Need Email- There are needs that arise on the mission field that need immediate prayer.  We are committed to praying for the urgent needs of those we partner with on the mission field.  Are you willing to stop and pray for these needs whenever you receive an email?  Then join the Urgent Prayer Need email.

Global Outreach Update- One way we can support those missionaries we partner with is through on-going prayer on their behalf.  Each month our partners share what God is doing in their ministries and the prayer needs that exist.  Consider investing your time throughout each month in praying for those on the mission field.

Prayer needs no passport, visa, or work permit.  There is no such thing as a 'closed country' as far as prayer is concerned...much of the history of mission could be written in terms of God moving in response to persistent prayer.
